Ringwald also reminisced about celebrating her longtime friend Matt’s 18th birthday on set — the same friend who inspired Jon Cryer’s character Philip F. “Duckie” Dale. The two have been close since sixth grade; he is godfather to her eldest daughter and she is godmother to his child. Ringwald is mom to Mathilda Ereni, 22, and twins Adele Georgiana and Roman Stylianos, 16.
