Co-artistic directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey called the visit a “tremendous honour,” noting it also marks Sir Kenneth Branagh’s return after more than 30 years and Sir Richard Eyre’s debut with the company. Harvey said she was struck by His Majesty’s knowledge of actors when he recognised Guy Henry onstage.
The royal outing followed a May 21 visit to Northern Ireland where he joined members of Loughries Men’s Shed for a ukulele moment, a clip the royal account shared as a sign of “growing friendship and connection.”
