Revealed at HBO Max’s Emmy Nominee Celebration on Aug. 16, Dourif says he hadn’t watched The Pitt at first because it felt like work to him — though he’s since tuned in. She plans to take him as her date to the 2026 Emmy Awards next month, where she’s nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, calling him private and proudly supportive.
